Community Spirit
  • Marquee Events, from time to time, volunteers to coordinate and / or provide services on a volunteer bases to support community events. The following events were coordinated without remuneration:

  • Kelowna 2,000 - City of Kelowna's New Year's Eve Celebration - Coordinated Event - hosted over 14,000 participants in 12 venues throughout the Kelowna downtown area
  • 1994 BC Summer Games - Kelowna - Co-Director of Ceremonies and Director of Administration - over 4,500 participants in event
  • Mainstage - Theatre BC - President's VIP Reception - Sponsored & Coordinated event
  • Variety Club of BC - in conjunction with local radio and TV stations, coordinated and produced Kelowna TV cut-ins
  • Summer Games for the Disabled - BC - Assisted the Director with ceremonies
  • 2000 Senior Games - Kelowna - provided data entry services for 1,600 volunteers
  • Kelowna Children's Water Park - instigated and committee involvement
  • Theatre Kelowna - Producer
